Dear viewers,

My friends and I wish to thank you all for your incredible response to this critically acclaimed episode of our fledging 'fan-cartoon' series! We've never thought of something like this until we've figured out how to make it presentable and finally, it all comes to this, with spectacular results! Once again, we'd like to say thank you and hopefully, we'll deliver another new episode in a few months time!

Dear fans,
The second half of the first pilot episode has now been refixed and reposted after several complaints of the preloader's inability to play instantly and other issues. Hope this will work well this time!

Thank you!

UPDATE: THE SECOND HALF OF THE FIRST PILOT EPISODE IS NOW ONLINE!

Posted by glenbw - November 7th, 2008

Dear NG viewers,

Sorry for the very long delay here but at long last, I've posted the first half of Part One called 'Sealed History'! This clip is merely a setup for the next climatic second half of the show, which will explore more of the origins of one of the title characters! So be sure to watch for the second half (which is still under production but probably will be posted later either this week or next week) and please leave your comments after viewing! Thanks!

Hi fellow viewers! If you wonder how we co-creators eventually come to the making of this cartoon series, you've come to the right place! Here is the drawing of one of the people who make it all happen: Jonathan Santos, one of the two siblings who once won a webcomic contest for best script: something that the brothers would have been proud since it was about to be adapted into its supposed medium (for those who are wondering, their creations are inspired by Fred Perry's cult fav manga, Gold Digger, so there would be some similarities between them). Unfortunately, as I have mentioned in other posted messages on the review section, the judges would promise to publish it with one condition: to alter the personalities of the characters as well as its entire storyline. The brothers were angered with the decision and thus, decided to forfeit it because of the insincerity of the judges. I too once wanted to alter their characteristics when we came to adapt it into an animated series but after listening to their story, I had begun to understand what they've been fighting for while creating them in the first place, and so, it would be better if the characters in the fancartoon would remain faithful to the spirit of the script (albeit with some additions that the brothers gleefully accept!). Here, I've posted a concept artwork for the main three characters. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Further news: Comics online based on the show itself, the second prequel trailer and the first part of the pilot are now underway! Stay tuned!

Behind The Making of Suzuki Tsunami Fancartoon: Concept Artwork #1

Dear Newgrounds users,

I would like to thank you for watching my latest wave of the Suzuki Tsunami cartoon shorts! Many of them have been posted to critical acclaim (and some naysayers too) and I wish to thank all the guys (A-Log, Santos brothers and Mike Pollock) as well as you all users who have continued to support me throughout the difficult process of these toons. For those who have never seen them or wondered what I'm talking about, you are always welcome to check out my Newgrounds website and enjoy what I've to offer here. Once again, thank you all for your overwhelming response!

Dear all,

I am happy to announce that the first of the prequel trailers is now online! Now divided into three parts (due to massive size), each Flash clip will unreveal some clues, hints and other significant backstory elements that will be prominent in future episodes when Suzuki and her elite kick in the undersea kingdom! For now, enjoy the origins behind the creation of King Oceatron! Friend or foe: you decide!

The Prequel Trailer Has Finally Arrived!

Posted by glenbw - June 6th, 2008

Dear all,

Since this is the first time I use Newgrounds, there are undoubtedly some experimental task that I've never done before, so it will usually involve a lot of trial and error. In this case, when I upload my own take on the swf conversion of my original clip, the quality looks kinda crappy and because of that, I have to delete it and will try to seek for my friend's help (who serves as a composer for most Newgrounds projects) to cram it to a point where it still retains the quality of the original. Hopefully, I'll upload it as soon as he's done with it and please don't forget to reinstate your previous comments! Thanks!

The Prequel Trailer

Posted by glenbw - June 5th, 2008

Hi everyone! Thanks for watching our latest teasers for the upcoming fan cartoon called Suzuki Tsunami and the Scarlet Steels! For those who have never heard of it, please read the description on the first teaser page. Anyway, I'm planning to post the third clip: actually a prequel short concerning the origins of one of the show's characters (unfortunately, Newgrounds only allows two uploads at a single day. That really sucks). Hope to post it tomorrow and all comments will be fully appreciated!
